Reading a Cartalax certificate

Purity is measured by reverse-phase HPLC on a C18 column with detection at 214 nm — the trace shown under each batch above. The figure is the share of the signal in the Cartalax peak, and it is reported against the specification printed beside it.

Identity is confirmed separately by LC-MS, which checks the mass of what is in the vial against what is expected for Cartalax. Purity without identity would say how clean the sample is, not what it is.

Net content is the measured quantity in the vial against its stated fill. Endotoxin is reported against its limit, sterility as growth or no growth, and heavy metals as a single negative-or-positive screen. Newer certificates also screen for fentanyl.

Verify a batch yourself

Every certificate carries the lab’s report number and access code, both published above. Enter them on the lab’s verification page and the laboratory returns its own copy of the record. Vials ship unlabeled, so the batch number for your order is on your invoice.
