Overview
DSIP is a nonapeptide first isolated in the 1970s and catalogued under the nonproprietary name emideltide. Its name, delta sleep-inducing peptide, dates from that original isolation.
It was first described in 1977 by Schoenenberger and Monnier, who isolated it from the cerebral venous blood of rabbits. The name records the circumstances of that isolation rather than an established mechanism: no specific receptor for DSIP has been identified, and its biology remains an open research question.
The nine residues, Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu, carry no modifications, which keeps identity testing by mass spectrometry simple. It is supplied as a 10 mg lyophilized fill and sits in the catalog beside the other short neuropeptides, selank and semax.
The certificate for one batch of DSIP is published in full, covering the 10 mg fill, with its HPLC chromatogram and a laboratory report number that can be independently verified.
The minimum is 50 vials (5 kits) across the whole order, not per compound: this compound is ordered in 10-vial kits and can be mixed with anything else in the catalog to reach it. Bulk orders earn volume pricing on every line.
Wholesale & bulk pricing
PER VIAL · 1 SKUPrices are per vial and every compound ships in 10-vial kits, so buying DSIP in bulk is a matter of kit count. Your tier is set by the compound kits on the order, not per compound — so 25 kits split across several compounds earn the same Tier 2 price on DSIP as 25 kits of DSIP alone. The minimum is 50 vials (5 kits) across the order, and supplies sit outside both.

Wholesale pricing per vial, ordered in 10-vial kits. Volume tiers apply to the compound kits on your order, mixed across any of them; supplies are priced flat and sit outside the tiers and the order minimum. Effective October 2026; confirmed in writing with your order and subject to change. A kit is 10 vials.

DSIP 10 MG, priced at the first kit count of each tier. The tier counts every kit on the order, so mixing in other compounds can only lower these figures. Shipping is extra; see the wholesale terms below.

Testing & certificate
Every new batch is tested by an independent lab before release — identity, quantity, purity, endotoxins, heavy metals, and sterility. Certificates are batch-specific: the purity number on the certificate is the exact value returned for that batch — nothing is rounded up, nothing is estimated.
Issued by an independent lab. Each certificate carries a report number and access code you can check directly with the lab — we do not stand between you and the laboratory. Certificates are batch-specific, so the figures above belong to the batch named on each row and not to any other.
All DSIP certificates of analysis, with chromatograms → Every published certificate is also searchable by batch or report number in the certificate library.
Wholesale terms
- MINIMUM ORDER
- 50-vial minimum. Mix any compounds to reach it. Ordered in 10-vial kits.
- PRICING
- From $14.00 per vial at 100+ kits — see the tier table. Confirmed in writing with your order.
- WHO WE SELL TO
- Resellers and institutions (resale certificate welcome)
- ORIGIN
- US-sourced and US-warehoused. Never relabeled from overseas.
- LABELING
- Stock vials ship unlabeled. The labeled vial shown on our product pages and catalog is an illustration — it exists so you can see the compound and dose at a glance, and is not a photograph of what arrives. Your lot number is on your invoice, which is how you match what you received to its certificate. Printed vial labels are the white-label program.
- SHIPPING
- Shipping within the United States is charged per 400 vials: UPS 2nd Day Air $35.00 or UPS Next Day Air $100.00 for each 400 vials or part of 400, so 401–800 vials ships 2nd Day Air for $70.00. You choose the service on the order form. Orders in by noon Pacific ship the same business day from Costa Mesa, California; 2nd Day Air arrives in 1–2 business days — about 1–2 days in California, around 2 nationwide. Special destinations are quoted individually. Cold-chain packaging, where a compound requires it, is quoted and billed separately.
- RETURNS
- Research peptides are not returnable once shipped: sealed vials and chain-of-custody mean a returned vial cannot be released to another buyer. If a shipment arrives damaged, incomplete, or is not what you ordered, contact the desk and we will make it right.
Handling & storage
- STORAGE

Frequently asked
What does DSIP cost wholesale?
DSIP is $20.00 per vial at list (5–24 kits) and $14.00 at Tier 3 (100+ kits). A bulk order of 1,000 vials of the 10 mg fill comes to $14,000.00. The tier counts every kit on the order, across all compounds.
What does DSIP stand for?
Delta sleep-inducing peptide. Schoenenberger and Monnier named it in 1977 after isolating it from rabbits in an induced sleep state marked by delta-wave activity. Its international nonproprietary name is emideltide.
What is the sequence of DSIP?
Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu: nine residues, opening with tryptophan and closing with glutamic acid. Identity testing checks each batch against that sequence before release.
Has a receptor for DSIP been identified?
No. In the decades since its isolation no specific DSIP receptor has been found, and how it acts is still unsettled in the literature, which keeps it a subject of basic research rather than an established tool.
What is the minimum wholesale order for DSIP?
50 vials (5 kits) across the whole order, not per compound, in 10-vial kits. On its own, DSIP reaches it with 5 kits; 50 vials of the 10 mg fill come to $1,000.00 at list. Kits of any other compounds count toward the same minimum, and volume pricing starts at 25 kits (250 vials) across the order.
Is there a certificate of analysis for DSIP?
Yes. One published batch covers the 10 mg fill, at 99.367% purity, with its HPLC chromatogram and the lab's report number. Vials ship unlabeled, so the batch number for an order is on its invoice.
