Purity is measured by reverse-phase HPLC on a C18 column with detection at 214 nm — the trace shown under each batch above. The figure is the share of the signal in the Selank peak, and it is reported against the specification printed beside it.
Identity is confirmed separately by LC-MS, which checks the mass of what is in the vial against what is expected for Selank. Purity without identity would say how clean the sample is, not what it is.
